Sometimes we will need to see an email in its complete state. This will allow us to look at the headers and determine where it came from, what email servers it passed through, who it really was addressed to, etc.

This information is lost when an email is forwarded, but it is retained if the email is forwarded as an attachment.

  1. Start a new email
  2. Drag the new message out of the way so you can see the original message in your inbox.
  3. Click on the original message and drag it into the body section of the new message.
  4. That is it, hit send and the original email will be attached to the new message with all its info intact.
