In 2009, Metisentry acquired and merged with Area 51. Today we have begun the stages of a brand-split resulting in the updating of our website and services. This brand-split will allow us to better focus our core competencies separately and raise the customer service level we provide to both Metisentry and Area 51 clients even higher. Metisentry provides the technical backbone for many companies. As such, we carry a great deal of responsibility for our customers. If your business is down or unable to operate due to a technical issue or outage, we are available at all hours and all times, to provide a solution.
Our newest addition to providing the best response, is the Metisentry Emergency Response system. Utilizing entirely different providers, and off site services, Metisentry provides alternate phone and email systems to ensure you can reach qualified staff in the event of an emergency.

OrderSentry is a workflow and order entry system geared towards multipart workflow/workorder companies such as metal plating, fabrication, and screen printing.
It's goal is to automate the flow of information from different components of a work order. From creating the initial set of work orders, to their completion and automatic billing (into common accounting applications such as Intuit Quickbooks), the process is as seemless as possible - avoiding double data entry.
The level of integration, from workorder to accounting, allows OrderSentry a unique insight into the operational business metrics. What is our average turn around? How frequently do we replace part X, and where have we been ordering them? OrderSentry helps to systematically find efficiencies while simplifying day to day operations.

11-30-2010 Pop Tab Collection for Local Hospital
The offices of Metisentry have recently begun a on-going collection of pop can tabs for the neighboring Akron Children's Hospital. Our team members are avid pop drinkers and are glad to learn that taking a quick moment to remove a piece of an item they encounter on a daily basis will add to fundraising efforts being made at a local hospital. The funds generated from Akron Children's Hospital pop can tab collections are used to help patients on dialysis.
11-01-2010 METISENTRY FOOD DRIVE
Did you know, as of 2008, 17 million children, under 18 years of age, lived in food insecure (hungry or at the risk of hunger) households? In Ohio, an estimated 18.7% of children are food insecure. The Akron-Canton Foodbank, located just around the corner from our Metisentry offices, serves about 179,800 people annually and approximately 31% of the members of the households they serve are children under 18 years of age.
This holiday season, the Metisentry team is initiating our very first project to assist the neighboring foodbank by holding an office food drive from November 1 - November 12.
