We're looking for motivated web developers who are passionate about creating elegant and efficient systems. Successful candidates will be interested in the latest trends in web technologies, and be experimenting with them. They are able to interpret user specifications, and shape or adapt them using whatever technology is at their disposal. They desire to work in a small company where getting things done is the top priority.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with clients and interpret project parameters
- Design and implement software systems to client and internal specifications
- Work with other departments or teams to complete projects
- Support and maintain existing codebases
Requirements:
- Four year degree in Computer Science or related field - or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Very strong object oriented experience
- Experience with MVC systems/frameworks
- Excellent Javascript, Ajax and other client side languages
- SQL experience (MySQL preferred)
- Must be a highly organized, detail oriented self starter who works well independently as well as in a team.
Additional desired experience:
- Experience with: server side languages (PHP, Ruby, others), CSS, HTML, jQuery, Prototype
- Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Familiar with template engines/front end architecture
